After more than two fruitless years of negotiations, the Simon Fraser Student Society board of directors has voted unanimously to lock out their unionized office staff. The board alleges that compensation costs have ballooned out of control and restricted the society’s ability to fulfill its mandate; the union claims that the lockout is ideologically motivated.
